Welcome to CatCompanion. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). These Terms act as the End User License Agreement (EULA) for CatCompanion. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About CatCompanion

CatCompanion is a cat breeding management app developed by Fantasy Apps. It provides tools for tracking cat health, breeding records, pedigrees, finances, and connecting with other breeders and buyers.

2. Account and Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

• CatCompanion offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions: Cat Owner and Cat Breeder.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Complimentary access codes issued by CatCompanion for testing, support, or marketing may grant temporary premium access. These codes are not sold outside the App Store.

4. User Content

• You retain ownership of content you create (cat profiles, photos, posts, messages).
• By posting content publicly (feed posts, marketplace listings, public profiles), you grant CatCompanion a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display that content within the app.
• You are solely responsible for the content you post. Do not post content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
• We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. AI Features

• CatCompanion includes AI-powered features (cat chat, pedigree scanning, analysis tools) provided through OpenAI.
• AI responses are generated automatically and may contain errors or inaccuracies. They do not constitute professional veterinary, legal, or financial advice.
• You should always verify important information with qualified professionals.
• AI feature usage may be limited based on your subscription tier.

6. Marketplace and Transactions

• CatCompanion provides tools for listing kittens and connecting breeders with buyers.
• CatCompanion is not a party to any transaction between breeders and buyers. All sales, payments, and agreements are solely between the parties involved.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the quality of animals, or the reliability of users.
• Users are responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding animal sales and breeding in their jurisdiction.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
• Use the app in any way that could harm animal welfare.
• Circumvent subscription restrictions or rate limits.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

CatCompanion is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will be accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fantasy Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages from reliance on AI-generated content.

10. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from the app's settings.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.
